A reply to the passionate shepherd

If the poem "The passionate shepherd to his love" was written in this modern time I think the "The Nymph's reply to the shepherd" would probably be like this  (^_^)

Dear Mr. Shepherd

 First of all I would like to thank you for admiring me that much.  I felt so special because someone in this world appreciates me like what you do. I understand that you want to impress me somehow by promising things that are somehow impossible. I want to tell you that I was really grateful for the adoration that you have shown. How I wish that you could understand my side too.

I’m sorry but I can’t accept those things that you promised. As you can see I’m just a simple person and the things you offered was a little bit too much I think. Don’t feel bad I still liked the things that you offered, but I like things that would last longer even if it’s simple the value is what I treasure more. This is not a rejection but I’m telling you that love is not yet in mind, but I’m looking forward if we can be friends for the meantime. I am still not ready for that kind of stuffs.

I hope you realize that nothing is wrong with you. Thank you and sorry.
