National Career Assessment Examination

     The NCAE (national Career Assessment Examination) is usually being taking up by junior high school students. This type of test is said to be helpful for students particularly in choosing a course in college. According to some this exam is very essential for one’s future. Some of our teacher said that this will be of great help, but the final decision still depends on us.  Especially in this crucial stage of life when students like us are like in the middle of crossroads.

     Before the exams I felt that this activity is a just of time, effort and material and as I take the exam I realized that the entrance examination on our school is way to harder. As I got on the OISS part, this is the part where you will rate how much you like the activity indicated. I felt that there were really specific activities that I like the most. I got to know myself better. Thanks to that NCAE my future became clearer to me.

The benefits from our Intrams

    Intramurals are fun, recreational, social and competitive on-campus sports activities students. It is for students to develop greater physical health. Having sports fest like this also trains the students’ mental and social health. It is also a great opportunity to showcase hidden skills and talents. For most of us intramurals is the best activity in the school year.

    In playing you need to be physically fit to have enough strength for the body works needed to win the game. Like in hitting the balls and others. You also need to be mentally fit. It is for you to think of a good strategy on how to win the game. Intramurals are the best time to learn and improve skills. Teamwork is also being trained in this kind of events. Playing as one is the best feeling specially when some people are cheering and hoping for your success. Most of all SPORTMANSHIP is the most valuable learning that you can get from intramurals. The maturity to accept that in every game somebody will lose and somebody will win is the most precious learning.

    In general our intramurals caused enjoyment and lessons at the same time :”>

Fluency with the ENGLISH LANGUAGE vs. Mastery of your MOTHER TONGUE 

    Language is either the specifically human capacity for acquiring and using complex systems of communication, or a specific instance of such a system of complex communication. The scientific study of language in any of its senses is called linguistics. It plays a very important role in communication. Here on earth various languages are used. Like here on the Philippines the Filipino language is the one considered as the national language.

     Using your own language is one of the best ways on how to show patriotism. In showing love and appreciation for your beloved home land using your mother tongue is a good choice. In this way you can develop a better communication with your fellow men. For me having to know this language also signifies that you are a true and a pure hearted Filipino.

     The English language is one of the most known form of language nowadays. It is also, somehow considered as the universal language because it is primarily used in foreign transaction and others. In some Asian countries persons that can use or understand English are considered intelligent or something like that. In addition learning this language causes ease in learning other languages too. If you know the English language reaching the world would be much easier.

     For me fluency on the English language is better than mastery with your mother tongue. That is because this generation communicating with the rest of the world is very important and the English language will be of great help. Not because I am not loyal to my beloved country but for me that is the most practical choice.
